We all know that it's not good to hold things inside. In society we are taught to mind our P's and Q's, put on a brave face or a fake smile... but we all have days where we just can't. Anger is one of the most prominent emotions and sometimes its hard to shed feelings of fury and calm our mind. When we experience these feelings of anger, we act on instincts rather than rational thought; but if we are able to take a minute to think, perhaps we should ask the question, 'why.'
Why are we angry? Why do we feel so strongly? Maybe we've been wronged, or we're upset about something beyond our control, or something hurtful that someone did or said. Regardless of why we are angry, it's unhealthy to keep rage bottled up inside us. If we keep rage bottled up it can change our perspective of the world, or cause us to put that rage onto someone who's innocent and doesn't deserve it. When we feel angry, its a good thing to channel that hostility into energy and get rid of it!
What you'll need:
A pot of loose soil
A shovel
STEP ONE: Keep the pot of soil outside, in a place that's easily accessible.
STEP TWO: When you're angry, go outside and sit next to your pot of soil. Close your eyes, and imagine your rage and anger flowing from your mind, down through your arms and into your hands. Rub your hands together, forming the rage into a ball of energy.
STEP THREE: Plunge your fingers into the soil, as deep as you can go, and visualize that ball of rage burrowing into the dirt. Move the soil around to cover the rage, pushing it far down beneath the surface.
STEP FOUR: Say to yourself or aloud, "Rage and anger, I banish you. Rage and anger, I dismiss you. Rage and anger, I bury you."
STEP FIVE: When you're done burying your rage, take your pot of soil somewhere away from your home. Dig a hole and dump the soil in it. Cover it up and go home without looking back.
Warning ⚠️ do not try this at night. People might think you're burying a body. Reader discretion advised!
STEP SIX: Now that your rage has been released and your mind begins to calm, sit by the fireplace(if you have one) and sip on a Fahrenheit 151 Cocktail!
What you'll need:
6 Cups Apple Cider
1 Cup Cranberry Juice
1 Cup Orange Juice
1 Cup Pineapple Juice
6 Cloves
4 Cinnamon Sticks
8 Ounces Bacardi 151 Rum
Pour all ingredients, except the rum, into a crock pot and let simmer for one hour. Turn off pot and add rum. Ladle into cups and enjoy!
