Surround Yourself with Good Energy ✨

Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you all had a nice, relaxing week and that the rain didn’t get you down.

I must admit, I kind of enjoyed the rain. Sometimes I open the window, so I can get the cool breeze, and smell the aroma of spring, while I listen.

I’m trying to get back into writing my blog on a regular basis. Sometimes it’s hard to find a fresh topic that’s intriguing, and where I don’t just blab about my personal life Lol

Today I wanted to talk about energy, and the people we share our energy with. I’ve had the great fortune to get to know a variety of people throughout my life, and I have to say, that the people who seem the happiest are those who have a supportive, loving and positive group of people around them. There are so many miserable people in the world who surround themselves with those who abuse them, neglect them, or who they don’t really like all that much. It’s important to surround yourself with people who will lift you up, encourage you, and love and care for you, while also being that same positive force for others. It's also important to allow your friends and loved ones to help you when you need it. No one in this life survives solely on their own, we all need help occasionally, sometimes we need a lot of help frequently. Life is full of ebbs and flows that will rock us. Things come in waves: both the good and the bad, and it’s important to see the value in both. I was speaking with a client the other day and he mentioned that he had seven surgeries on his knee. He didn’t scowl, or curse, or show any sign of pain; he just shrugged his shoulders and said, it’s all part of the journey.

When he said that I was taken aback, because he is absolutely correct. Our time on this earth is a journey filled with pain, and heartache. It’s filled with happiness and joy too, and every kind of emotion imaginable. This person I had just met gave me a gift: to see beauty in the things that are meant to teach us patience, courage, strength, and acceptance. People who see things with a ‘glass half full’ mentality are the kind of people I want to spend my time with; the kind of people with whom I want to share my energy.

Life is hard enough without trying to fight the negative constantly.

This week I was reminded of those people in my life who truly care ❤️‍🩹 I am so grateful that I am blessed with a family who loves me and friends who care. Life is challenging. There will be times when we doubt ourselves, when we feel alone, when our struggles come one after another and never seem to stop. There will be times when we are put to the test time and time again, and in these moments, we have the opportunity, over and over again, to show our strength. We must not allow the hardships of life to diminish our spirit. It is in these moments where we have the opportunity to show our tremendous strength and be a light for others 💞

When was a time in your life when you were truly challenged and had to ask for help? What gives you strength in times of need? Share your story!
