Happy Weekend Everyone:)
I wanted to share some of the exciting things that have happened lately and how they've impacted my mindset in a new way. First I want to say what a great time I had at my sisters wedding! I haven't laughed or smiled that much in a long time and the dancing was so much fun and so needed! I used to cry at weddings. I used to focus on myself and see myself as a victim, but now I see things differently. I've learned to immerse myself in the happy moments and be grateful for the ability to celebrate with family and friends who I love and who love me in return ❤️ I got to visit with my aunts, uncles and cousins I haven't seen in a long time and it was a blast working the bar with my brothers and sister-in-law. I've found that dancing is good for the soul and releases a lot of stress and anxiety. I had another opportunity to dance the night away at the Marina in downtown Olympia. I went down for my usual evening walk and stumbled on a live band and crowd of people dancing, so I kicked off my running shoes and joined in the fun! I look forward to more spontaneous dance parties in the future 🙃 Another thing that I'm so excited about is a Client who came into the Spa the other night. He came in with excruciating shoulder pain and was desperate for relief. I worked his shoulder for the entire hour, while getting to know a bit about his life. He left the Spa pain free and left me feeling grateful that I was able to impact him in such a positive way ✨️ I'm also so happy and grateful for my new job as Administrative Assistant at Bodymechanics! I'm happy to be in an atmosphere surrounded with others who share the same goals, inspiration and motivation... while going through similar struggles 🙏 While I was at work preparing for the upcoming Massage class, I received a 5 star review from the client I was able to help the night before. I feel good about where I'm at in life right now, and I could tell myself that I wish I had been in this place 10 years ago... but the important thing is that I'm here now, and that I made it happen by trusting myself and learning to see the positive and not let the negative get in the way. How has your week been? Share some positive things that have happened to you and what you've learned from them 😌
