Good Morning and happy Thanksgiving everyone šš¦ This year has been filled with many blessings, not the least of which, is having you all in my life. Some days I'm so overjoyed with gratitude for the many people in my life who have been there for me, supported me, and loved and cared for me unconditionally. The thing I appreciate as I get older, and the world gets crazier, is that we can find happiness in the simple things in life. That we can be thankful for even the setbacks in life, because they help us to grow, learn valuable lessons and push us to greater heights. This new perspective, this new mindset, and the people we have in our lives has more to do with happiness than the possessions we have in this world. There are little moments through life that we look back on and remember with fondness, not because of what we had, but who we were with and the experiences we had. Every day we have an opportunity to live with positivity, to live with love, to live with joy, to live with purpose, to live with excitement, to live with determination, and peace rather than fear, worry, concern, and negativity. We can try to find something in every moment of every day to be grateful for; whether its something as small as the feeling of the wind on our face, the smell of a scented candle or the air in our lungs. These little things we so often forget about, are actually big things; they are gifts surrounding us every day. Along with being thankful for all of you, I'm also thankful for my new career in Massage, where I'm able to live out my passion each day, while helping and connecting with people. I'm also thankful to be a part of the massage industry and work with the students at Bodymechanics School, where I continue to learn exciting new things, and learn how to navigate injury, pain and trauma in different ways, while surrounded by exceptional and inspiring role models. I'm thankful for my family and friends, who I know will always be there for me and have my back. I'm thankful that, after 20+ years of being an active runner, I'm still able to run and feel free ššāāļø What are you thankful for this year? What things do you find joy in?
