Most Embarrassing Moments

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! I hope everyone has some fun plans for the weekend. I thought it appropriate to add some laughter to our day, as its been shown to reduce stress and increase happiness, something all of us could use a little more of these days. Today we're going to talk about an embarrassing moment, or moments, we've had in our day-to-day lives. Whether it's in the work place, on a date, at a family function, wedding... Whatever the case may be, there seem to be an endless supply of times we've put our foot in it!

I have some embarrassing moments I want to share with you and I hope you won't think less of me for them. 🤔 There was one instance when I was on a job interview and I had worked everything down to the minute detail, when I looked down in the middle of the interview and noticed that I was wearing two different kinds of shoes. In my focus on finding the perfect outfit I had failed to notice that one of my heels had a lace up the front while the other one had a strap. If things weren't bad enough, when I was leaving the interview the woman walking me out said, "I really hope you get this job because you could really use a new pair of shoes." Needless to say, I didn't contact them again after that and they certainly didn't contact me. I learned my lesson though, and always triple check my shoe choice before going on any more interviews! Another time of mortification happened when I was giving a speech in college. I had written and rewritten my script, memorized every word verbatim and was feeling pretty confident. As soon as I got up in front of everyone, my classmates and visitors of the college, I noticed that my shirt was see through. I hadn't noticed before because the lighting in my dorm room was dim as a jail cell, but the spot light in the presentation room was so bright I could barely see the audience and thank god for that! To this day i'll never really know if I received a high score based on my presentation or my outfit...🙄 Do you have any embarrassing moments you want to share? Please comment below!
