Happy Weekend everyone 🫶
I want to focus on something I had to be reminded of a lot this past couple weeks. As always, life throws you curveballs and, if you're like me, my first instinct is to retreat into my shell... as many Cancers ♋️ tend to do. But I have many sides of myself and the part of me that longs for that warm, safe shell is also balanced with resilience, determination and passion 🧡 I have many passions in life, one of which is connecting with people, while helping them on their journey through pain and to freedom. As humans we spend most of our time and energy avoiding pain and pursuing pleasure and happiness. We try desperately to avoid those roadblocks in life that are as sure to come as the Washington rainshowers. And, despite the cheesy-ness of it all, it's still a true sentiment when we say that "without the rain, we would never see the brilliant colors of the rainbow 🌈 It takes, both rain and sun to make up a life and without one we wouldn't be complete. That being said... I've had to remind myself, as well as having the support of good friends remind me, that our lives our beautiful and abundant! We get side-tracked so easily by comparing ourselves to others, judging others and ourselves, and chasing after gold... But we have a choice to see beauty around us everyday. Whether it's the sound of the rain falling on rooftops, the gentle breeze whispering through the trees, the sun peaking over the horizon, or feeling strength and wellness in our body. All these things... which are free by the way, can enrich our lives in a way that money, fame, popularity and knowledge never can. And while those things are great, they don't make an abundant life; only we can make our lives abundant. When we love ourselves and those around us, we can truly enjoy the abundance of the life we already hold. I'm a huge believer in manifesting abundance, though sometimes I forget that the power lies inside me ✨️ I hope this post finds you well and that you have already awakened the power within you to see the abundance that life holds for you ❤️
