Favorite Childhood Memory

Hey everyone! I wanted to switch things up today and talk about something happy šŸ˜Š

If there's one thing i'm sure of, it's that we need a little extra happy in our lives!

I want to invite everyone to share a favorite memory from their childhood. In times like these it's important to go back to the beginning and remember who we are, where we came from, and the people who helped shape us. I had a wonderful childhood. I was lucky to have been raised in a home with loving parents and siblings I was close with and still have a strong relationship with today. Most people aren't so lucky to remember such happy times. One memory I have is riding with my dad in an old beat up Datsun, listening to Michael W. Smith on a radio that is probably in a museum now. Every time I hear that song now, I am taken back to that memory and I smile remembering that feeling of peace. Another memory I have is my mom taking me to the eye doctor, I think I was about 6 years old at the time. After the trauma of it all, (If you know me, you know I don't do doctors well), my mom would take me out for ice cream šŸ˜‹ Maybe that's why I love ice cream so much. Now that i'm an adult I have to keep up the tradition myself and visit my local Dairy Queen every time I pass out at the doctors office. What is your favorite childhood memory? Please join me in remembering joy and happiness! Share your story in the comments below šŸ’–

That's great! Anticipating and preparing for Christmas is more enjoyable to me than the actual day. It's a magical time of year :) Thanks for sharing ā¤

My favorite childhood memories are of the anticipation of the joy of Christmas, decorating the tree and the house with my Mom, and the big holiday meals weā€™d have at Christmas and thanksgiving when all the family would come visit for the day.
