Bridge the Gap Between Where You Are and Where You Want to Be.

I want to talk today about bridging the gap of where we are today and where we want to be. Ask yourself, how much space is between my dream and where I am today? What thought, feeling, emotion goes through my mind when I think about this space? Do I focus on the space more than I focus on the dream? Do I focus on the poverty or lack in my life, rather than the ultimate goal? Instead of focusing on the gap and what's preventing us from achieving our dream, we need to focus on what we want and living each day by taking incrementally action towards achieving it. I like to think of this exercise as "dressing for the job we want, not the job we have." We can visualize ourselves in that place we want to be, just as an actor steps into character, and even when they're off set, they are still mentally and physically living in that character role. Everything we achieve is first created by a spark in our brain and by creating this vision within ourselves, we literally create what we want from the inside-out. When we focus on the dream rather than the space, we can create a Winning and Achieving mindset that prepares us for a higher State of Being within ourselves. Everything anyone has ever accomplished in life was first created by a spark, which took root in their lives as incremental action and habits they formed towards achieving that dream. What is your dream, want, desire, in life that will create within you a higher State of Being? What is one thing you can do each day to help you achieve that dream?
